My name is Giulia and I am the proud and passionate owner of Casale Centurione, our farmhouse in Abruzzo, where I live together with my husband Gianluca and my three kids Marco, Sofia  and Giorgio. 

I come from Lazio and I moved to Abruzzo more than 10 years ago after falling in love with my husband. That time i was working in Rome for Alitalia, the most important Italian Flying company. I have been studying foreign languages since my high school and university and I was planning of working and travelling around the world to discover different places and cultures. Meeting my husband was one of the most important thing in my life. Since then I decided to move to Abruzzo to renovate with him his old country house he just inherited from the great parents. 

I complitely changed my life from a town girl to a country one. I discovered the beauty of a slow countryliving in a land rich in wild nature, culture heritage, history and amazing good food and wines. We love sharing our passion for homemade, seasonal and local  food. 

We do believe it’s important to support small farmers’ business to help them keeping the traditions alive.
