The  Casale Centurione farmhouse is set in the Piana di Santa Maria Arabona, a beautiful countryside between olive groves and vinew, with a view to the two most important Abruzzo National Parks :The Majella nd Gran sasso. The name cames from the XIII century abbey in the area called Abbazia di Santa Maria d’Arabona a Manoppello.

Manoppello is also known for The Holy Face of God, a religious relic, a veil that is comparable to the shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo.

The old village of Manoppello, that you can see from our rooms ( link to rooms)  is set on the ruins of a ancient roman village such as many other villages in the area. Some archaelogical finds from the area are now in available in  Museo archeologico nazionale d’Abruzzo di Chieti expositions.

A short drive from the farmhouse it is possible to visit an old roman villa with mosaics.

My husband and I, we love to greet you with a coffe and a handmade cake when you arrive to the farmhouse. We love talking with tout o show the beauty to discover in abruzzo to fall in love with helping you to find the most interesting itinerary for you.
